Leadership

Led by Boban Milivojević and his daughter Nađa, in Serbia and the UK, with his sons Jovan and Branko designing at the studio in Paraćin. Boban has worked professionally since 1993 and is the founder of CAD ART studio. Nađa began her career alongside him in Paraćin, then went on to an MSc in Construction Project Management (Distinction) and a PhD in the UK.

Today Boban and Nađa take the key decisions together. Nađa, our senior project manager, runs every Morava Modern project from the first brief to the final files, and Boban brings 33+ years as an investor and developer in Serbia. Requests sent through this site reach Jovan Milivojević, our lead designer, in Serbia.

Boban Milivojević

Founder

Boban Milivojević founded CAD ART studio, which he leads today with his daughter, Nađa. He is also an investor and developer: for more than 33 years he has developed and built apartment buildings, residential buildings and commercial spaces in Serbia.

Boban has worked professionally since 1993, and he learned to run projects the practical way: on his own developments, as the investor who carries the budget and the risk. That practice is what he passed on to Nađa and the studio team. On every Morava Modern project, the key decisions are ones he and Nađa take together.

That experience gives the studio a view from the client's side of the table. Boban has run the company, set its business strategy and made its financial decisions, so he judges a design the way an owner does: by what it takes to finance and build. In Serbia, he also chairs an urban planning commission for spatial planning.

Above all, he is a mentor to the whole team. He studied at the University of Belgrade, and every design in the collection comes from the studio he leads.

Senior Project Manager

Nađa Milivojević is our senior project manager, and every Morava Modern project runs through her. From the UK, she oversees each one from the first brief to the final files: scope, schedule, decisions and client communication, in English or Serbian. The design and drawing work happens at the studio in Paraćin.

Alongside the studio, she is a client-side project manager on UK public-sector construction projects worth up to 80 million pounds, from schools to heritage and healthcare. She brings the same discipline to a single family home: a clear scope, decisions in writing, a realistic schedule and no surprises when the files arrive.

BArch, MSc, MSc (Dist), PhD, AFHEA, ARB, RIBA, NECReg · Chartered Member of RIBA & RSUA

These are UK registrations. Nađa is not licensed in any US state, Canadian province or Australian state or territory. No drawing set is stamped for any location; a professional licensed where you build adapts it.

CAD ART studio

Morava Modern is the international collection of CAD ART, a family design studio in Paraćin, Serbia, with more than 500 projects across Serbia. The work runs from family homes and villas to apartment buildings, residential complexes and commercial buildings, and the studio's house designs are drawn for clients at home and abroad.

Morava Modern brings a curated selection of those house designs to self-builders, owner-builders and small developers in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. Studios and builders also hire us for drafting, BIM modeling and 3D rendering production.

Beyond houses

In Serbia, the studio's work reaches beyond the single home: apartment buildings, residential complexes and a retail center, on projects of up to 50,000 m² (about 538,000 ft²). The largest is the Sokolis residential complex in Kragujevac. These buildings are shown for reference, not offered as plans.

Designed in Serbia, adapted where you build

Our designs are drawn in metric and follow Serbian and EU practice. CAD ART and its designers are qualified and working in Serbia; they are not licensed or registered in the US, UK, Canada or Australia. That's why every Morava Modern design is adapted by a professional licensed where you build.

Nađa Milivojević's UK registrations, listed above, are hers personally. At Morava Modern her role is project management; the designs are drawn by the studio in Paraćin.

How it works

The Great Morava, Serbia

Morava (MOR-uh-vuh) is the Great Morava, the river that runs through the heart of Serbia. Its valley is where the studio works and where these designs were drawn.

The valley also gave its name to the Morava school, a late-medieval style of Serbian church building known for its banded stone-and-brick walls and finely carved ornament. We don't borrow its forms. We share its care for proportion and for the way light falls on a wall.

How the collection was chosen

The collection holds houses only: homes for one household, each shaped by a clear idea, from a compact A-frame to a stone villa over three levels. Every design is shown with its design area as published, in m² and ft², its levels and its bedrooms. We describe what the drawings and renderings show, and nothing more.
