The design
On the downhill side the garage opens at ground level; above it, two family floors sit behind a deep loggia on stone-clad columns.
Natura is designed for a sloping lot and follows it. On the downhill side, a lower level opens at grade for the garage, with a mechanical room and storage behind it. The two family floors sit above, under a series of stepped hipped roofs in dark tile.
A deep covered loggia runs across the front on dark stone-clad columns. It opens straight from the living area and gives you an outdoor room for sun and for rain. Inside, living, kitchen and dining share one open space, with large glazing toward the loggia and the garden. A study that doubles as a guest room, a bathroom and a separate guest WC keep visitors on the ground floor.
The upper floor is for sleeping. The primary bedroom has its own bathroom and a walk-in closet, and three more bedrooms share a family bathroom. A balcony behind a glass balustrade gives the floor its own outdoor space.
