The design
A thin flat roof reaches far past the walls on round columns, sheltering an outdoor room on each level.
A loggia is a room with one side open to the air, and this house has two, one above the other. A thin flat roof reaches far beyond the walls on slender round columns, and beneath it covered terraces stack on both levels: shade for lunch below, a glass-railed outdoor room above.
The facade pairs white render with gray concrete-look panels, and tall windows in a staggered rhythm give the entrance side a vertical pattern. A small tiled canopy marks the front door.
Each level is 150 m² (1,615 ft²). On the ground floor, the living room connects to an open kitchen and dining area, and sliding glass doors lead straight onto the covered terrace. A study or library offers a quiet corner, and a guest bedroom near a bathroom lets visitors settle in on their own level. Upstairs, the principal suite has a walk-in closet and its own bathroom, and three further bedrooms share a family bathroom. Five bedrooms suit a large family, or a household that welcomes grandparents for long stays.
The renderings are in an older, simpler style than others in the collection, and they show a flat courtyard behind a tall rendered wall.
