The design
Cream walls, round porthole windows and an arched portico of pale, travertine-look stone under a low hipped roof.
Aurelia is the most classical house in the collection, and it wears that lightly. A low hipped roof of dark gray tile sits over smooth cream render with banded corners. The entrance steps forward as a gabled portico, framed by an arched surround of pale, travertine-look stone. Round porthole windows and wall-washer lights finish the front.
Everything is on one level, in a simple rectangle of 150 m² (1,615 ft²). Kitchen, dining and living share one room around a kitchen island, with large glazed openings to the rear garden, so the back of the house is all daylight and lawn. A separate study gives remote work or homework a door that closes.
The three bedrooms are grouped in their own zone, away from the living room, and a full bathroom serves them. A separate WC next to the entrance looks after guests, so visitors stay on the day side of the house.
