The design
Brick-slip piers carry a gray tile roof along a covered terrace, with room for a dining table and a lounge corner.
Hearth gathers a whole household under one roof. A single broad hipped roof in gray tile covers the living spaces, the two-car garage and a long covered terrace, so from the street the house reads as one shape.
The living area is 100 m² (1,076 ft²). At its center, living, dining and a galley kitchen share one open room, with full-height glazed doors onto the covered terrace. Brick-slip piers carry the roof edge there, and there is space for a dining table and a lounge corner, so on a mild evening dinner moves a few steps outdoors.
The sleeping side is flexible. Three bedrooms suit a young family; later, the third can become a walk-in closet, or stay a nursery or study. A family bathroom serves the bedrooms, and a separate guest WC keeps visitors on the living side of the house.
Beside the living spaces, under the same roof, about 60 m² (646 ft²) of garage, storage and mechanical space takes the cars, the bikes and the garden tools. The plan shows a short ramp at the garage entrance.
White textured render, brick-slip panels and dark-framed, full-height glazing complete the exterior: three materials, used plainly, on one roof line.
